This is a print from an engraving of a painting, entitled 'Prize Cattle shown at the Birmingham and Midland Counties Exhibition 1849', by G. B. Newmarch, c.1849. It was lithographed by T. Underwood. It was dedicated by the painter The Right Honourable Earl of Aylesford. It is one of a collection of paintings and prints thought to date from the last quarter of the 18th century to c.1860.
