This is a print from an etching entitled 'The Prize Ox', by J. Hibbert 1803. The ox was bred by Mr Hall of Leigh Court, Abbots Leigh, Somerset. It is one of a collection of paintings and prints thought to date from the last quarter of the 18th century to c.1860.
