Description
This is one of two matching one-pint beer mugs with scroll handles. Each mug is decorated with thick light blue bands and thin black stripes on a white background. Each mug is stamped on the side with 'Pint VR71', indicating they are Victorian (1837-1901). They came from the Fox Inn in Thame, Oxfordshire.

2 beer mugs: glazed earthenware; fair condition- cracked and chipped
Archival history
According to the MERL 'Handwritten catalogue' form, the mugs are stoneware - an existing note on Adlib described them as earthenware.
