Description
This is a galvanised iron bucket with an upright brass handle on one side and brass trimmings. It is of the type used when milking cows and transporting milk to the dairy. It was given to the Museum by Farmers Clean Milk Dairies Ltd. of Reading.

Also for hygiene purposes, the bucket has been galvanised, and the handle is of brass, so that they would not rust after washing.
