This is a car lamp, manufactured by Joseph Lucas Ltd., of Birmingham c.1920. It is made of brass, and is designed to be an offside lamp, with a rear red lens.

No. 6 and no 21 are the artistic gems of the collection, though not necessarily the most interesting. // References to Falk are to a Falk, Stadelmann catelogue I was fortunate to acquire which is virtually a catalogue raisonne of lamps for domestic and non-industrial use.
