Description
This hoof cleaner was found in the stables of Whiteknights House, at the University of Reading. It has a dual purpose. The hook can be used in the normal manner for removing stones from horses' hooves. The end of this hook is hinged so that when it is bent back the hook fits inside the handle of the hoof cleaner, exposing a blunt piece of iron 1/2 inch long which can serve as a screw driver.
