- DescriptionThis singeing lamp originally came from a wheelwright's shop in Braishfield, hampshire. The comb is broken off except for 7 teeth at the tip. 'V R C Deakins Patent' is inscribed in the underside of the tap. Singeing lamps were used to singe the hair from a horse, as an alternative to clipping it.
