    Padded gilet waistcoat worn by donor whilst farming. The blue waistcoat has diamond quilting stitches, two small front pockets, and brown patches on the shoulders and underarms. The waistcoat was worn on Croft Farm, Lincolnshire whilst working with cattle, sheep and arable farming. It has been damaged on the front, exposing the filling exposed. It has areas of repair and machine darning. Conservation note: item is dirty and torn in places, showing insulation lining material. The item is not cleaned, nor treated in any way, to maintain its 'work-a-day' appearance.
