Description
This model is a replica of The Bull pub located in the fictional village of Ambridge Borcester. Ambridge is the setting of the BBC Radio Four series The Archers. This model was produced by Danbury Mint. The cast model features the three-storey, Tudor-style building with a patio area at its front. This area of the model includes two benches, one with three figures sat at it and the second with two. There is a metal sign for the free-house and features the pub's name. This is one of a selection of items loaned to the MERL for the 2011 exhibition 'Everyday stories of country folk: 60 years of The Archers and MERL: 1951-2011'.
