Description
This model is a replica of Honeysuckle cottage located in the fictional village of Ambridge Borcester. Ambridge is the setting of the BBC Radio Four series The Archers. This model is part of the Ambridge Collection produced by Landmark Miniatures in 1985. The cast model features the two-storey, Tudor-style thatched cottage with a small area of the building's garden surrounding it as its base. This is one of a selection of items loaned to the MERL for the 2011 exhibition 'Everyday stories of country folk: 60 years of The Archers and MERL: 1951-2011'.
