Description
This white mug features lines of music and the repetition of 'Dum', 'di', diddle', and 'drink', mimicking the opening and closing tune of BBC Radio Four show The Archers. The lines are green, the words black, with musical notes in orange, yellow, green, and blue. The mug was produced by the Archers Addicts as memorabillia for the show. The Archers is set in the fictional village of Ambridge, Borcester. This is one of a selection of items loaned to the MERL for the 2011 exhibition 'Everyday stories of country folk: 60 years of The Archers and MERL: 1951-2011'.
