Description
This die cast model bus is a replica of a Borchester Blue bus. Borchester is a fictional town from the BBC Radio Four series, The Archers, based 6 miles outside of the village of Ambridge. The model is still in its original packaging and was one of a range of promotional models made by Enfield-based company Lledo plc. This is one of a selection of items loaned to the MERL for the 2011 exhibition 'Everyday stories of country folk: 60 years of The Archers and MERL: 1951-2011'.
