Description
This is an egg testing lamp to monitor embryos developing inside their eggs. It was used for many years by the poultry breeding donor. The tube with a lightbulb inside was pressed to the side of the egg to illuminate the egg to see if a chick was growing. The lamp fitting was made by Leviton in the USA for a 75W-125V light bulb. Older versions of this type of lamp can get quite hot. The lamp has an electric cable and a fused plug.
