Description
This model Gypsy caravan was made by the donor’s husband, a carpenter, in 1995. He made all of the parts, including the horse and one of the two figurines, taking him between six and nine months. The caravan is maroon and yellow with removable white shutters. It includes items such as pillows, pictures, pots and pans etc. It has a separate mirror for viewing the undercarriage and a lighting system. The caravan came to the Museum with a pack of plans used to make the model.
