Description
This wooden barrel tap consists of a hollow tap and screw (although the screw is held fast and will not turn). There are a number of holes drilled in the narrower end of the tap. It was used by the donor's Grandfather, Alfred Thompson for cider barrels on Townsend Farm in Didmarton, Gloucestershire, where they made their own cider. It was later used by the same family at Barn Farm, Kingwood.
