Dressing horse used to mould drainage tiles. Originally it had a covering of canvas or cloth, which prevented the clay from sticking.
This dressing horse is used to mould drainage tiles. The tile is first moulded flat, then afterwards bent around a wooden core such as this one to give them their proper shape. Originally this dressing horse had a covering of canvas or cloth, which prevented the clay from sticking.
