Description
This is one of three wooden clothes pegs donated to MERL in 1980. They belonged to the donor's great aunt, Mrs Agnes Newman of South Harting, West Sussex, who was born circa 1870 and died in 1970. According to the donor, the pegs probably date from the late 19th century.
