Description
This Vaccar milking machine is probably a 'single' milking churn for milking a single cow at a time and was donated to MERL by Mr. Harold W. Burry via Mr. R. H. Burton. Mr. Burry managed the Vaccar office and works at Christchurch, Hampshire, from 1928 until circa 1948. Vaccar Ltd is a developer of milking machines. Mr. Burton also worked for Vaccar Ltd.

It has a handle and a heavy rim at the base. The compartment is not divided as in our other Vaccar churn (58/63). It is probably a 'single' milking churn.
