Description
This flower basket is made of white willow rod and coarse skein. It is a wide, shallow, oblong frame-type basket with a lapped handle. Its origin is unknown, although it has been identified as a 'French type'.

The Ann Mary Pilcher Collection of Victorian Baskets (67/60-94) was collected by Ann Mary Pilcher in 1957-1967, mostly from junk shops and stalls.
