Description
This twister was used to turn straw or hay into rope. It was used on Hill Top Fruit Farm in Ledbury, Herefordshire, in the 1870s. It consists of a metal rod shaped like a crank with two wooden handles, one for holding it and one for turning, and a hook at one end.
