Description
This is a saw edged sickle, the blade of which is stamped with the initials I.K.I.K. It was used in Berkshire, or possibly Oxfordshire, for harvesting crops by hand.

Archival history
MERL 'Catalogue index' card – 'This sickle came from Berkshire. It has the initials I.K.I.K. stamped on the blade, which has a saw edge. The wooden handle measures 6 inches in length and there is an indentation on the inner side of the blade just above the handle where the thumb may rest.
