James Haxell

James Haxell is the current Reading Students' Union President.

He has just completed his 4th year studying accounting and finance with a study abroad year at Colorado State.

In his time at Reading he has been involved with athletics, Reading University Drama Society and the Reading Students' Union commercial department.

Having started at the University of Reading in September 2021, he has worked on campus in the Knights Café, Mojos, tech/lighting, kitchen and merch store.

As Reading Students' Union President, he has three overarching goals:

improve student safety
provide cost of living support
improve the student experience.
