Role
Professor Daniel Grant works with the Pro-Vice-Chancellors (Education and Student Experience) to provide leadership for education and the student experience across the University.
As a member of the senior Teaching and Learning executive team, Daniel is responsible for:
- providing inspirational leadership for the University’s Teaching and Learning community
- providing leadership, supporting and overseeing teaching, learning and the student experience (in collaboration with the relevant School Directors of Teaching and Learning (SDTL) and the School Directors of Academic Tutoring (SDAT) within the cluster of schools he represents
- developing, leading and driving forward the University’s strategic priorities in Teaching and Learning, aligned to the overall University Strategy, within his school clusters
- securing enhancements in Teaching Excellence and the student experience through data-driven school and institutional improvements.
Daniel is also the Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education and Student Experience) working with the School of Biological Sciences, School of Chemistry, Food and Pharmacy, and School of Psychology and Clinical Language Sciences.
