This is a glass measuring cylinder. It has a wide, circular base, a narrow stem, then a wide top which forms a pouring lip. It has a measuring scale etched into the stem. It was used by Georgina Pullen (later Cook) of Andover, Hampshire and Hambleden, Buckinghamshire, during her work as a rural midwife in 1914-17.
