Small pottery jug inscribed 'Festival of Britain 1951 Bideford Trades Exhibition'. The base is stamped 'Fen handmade England'. Fen Pottery were based in Huntingdon, Cambridge operating the 1930s and 1950s. Bideford's Festival of Britain celebrations included a Trades Exhibition, which this jug commemorates.
