This is one of 64 printing blocks used to print the illustrations in ‘The English Farm Wagon: Origins and Structure’ by John Geraint Jenkins, as published in 1961. Jenkins was the Assistant Keeper at MERL 1953-1960, and these blocks were found in the Museum in 2010. This block - Figure 20 on page 86 - shows a diagram of variations in forecarriage design of wagons in different counties.
