This is a pair of horse clippers, with a separate leather pouch which protects the blades. The clippers have a scissor-action motion - the top set of blades moves backwards and forwards across the bottom set, with a 'cuts over three teeth' movement (each top blade moves across 3 lower teeth). The clippers are isncribed: "RMAN & SONS LTD. / THE KENILWORTH' and 'Cuts over Three Teeth'. They belonged to a man who used to deliver green groceries in a horse and cart.
