Beskrivning
A brander is a domestic hearth implement for baking brander bannocks or oat or barley bread over hot coals. This one is made of iron and consists of a plain ring with two T-shaped pieces at each side and a large handle for hanging. Also known as a griddle. Lavinia Smith acquired it from Nat Slade, a wheelwright from Wayford, Somerset.
