Lloyd, 17 November 1980 – 'Dear Mr. Lloyd, // I am very grateful to you for offering your father's wheelbarrow and hay-rake to the Museum. We do, however, already have several examples of both implements and are faced with a very severe storage problem. I am afraid, therefore, that I will have to decline your offer, but suggest that you contact the Hampshire County Museums Service, Chilcomb House, Chilcomb Lane, Bar End, Winchester (tel 0962 66242). They are actively collecting both agricultural and general rural life material and may be interested in these items. // Yours sincerely, // Roy D. Brigden // Keeper'
