This is a medium sized pat with one ridged surface made of sycamore wood, used for shaping butter into pats. It has a rounded handle with a hole for hanging. The letters B.D.I are branded on the back of the pat. This item was donated as part of a collection of dairy related objects from the University of Reading Department of Food Science.
