- ОписаниеHorseshoes are nailed or glued to the horse's hooves to protect the hooves from wear and tear. Nothing is known of the origin of this horseshoe, which was made specially for vetinerary reasons. It has a bar at the toe and large caulkins, protrusions at the toe and heel of the horseshoe which provide additional traction.
