This Sussex wagon was built in 1939 by W. J. Tedham of Cripp's Corner, near Bodiam, Sussex. It was built to the order of Mr L. P. Haynes, who was then farm manager on the Guinness hop farms, East Sussex, where it was used. It was given to the donor by the farm manager in 1957, Mr H. R. Roberts, at which time it was completely renovated by Frank Tedham of Northiam, a cousin of the maker.
