This is the accompanying leaflet for a ceramic decorated plate manufactured by Josiah Wedgwood and Sons of Barlaston, Staffordshire, in 1989. It is entitled 'Haymaking' and is third in the series 'Life on the Farm' designed by the artist John L. Chapman (1946–). The plate depicts a colourful scene of a haycart pulled by a horse, with several workers sitting and standing in the hayfield. The plate is number 1535F of an edition limited to 150 firing days. The plate comes in a box with a certificate of authenticity in addition to the leaflet.
