A model of a zigzag milking parlour, as used at High Copse Farm, Shinfield. The model consists of three animal cells – two in a line and one at an angle – with individual corner feed troughs and half doors. It is one of three milking parlour models (96/15-17) made by the staff at the National Institute for Research in Dairying (NIRD).
