This dog collar is an adjustable brass animal collar with 5 different slots for fixing the circumference. It is missing a harp through which a padlock would probably have been fixed. The outer surface is covered with leather and has sporting scenes in brass including boxing, dog fighting, bull baiting, bear baiting and cock fighting. Probably dating to early 19th century.
