Beschrijving
Two large pottery plant labels from the Bayfordbury Pinetum in Hertfordshire, and dating from circa 1840. One bears the label 'Pinus Palustris // Carolina & Georgia' and the other 'Picea Pichta // Altai Mountains'. They were acquired by the Museum from the Department of Agricultural Botany at the University of Reading.
