This halter was probably used for controlling a small horse or pony while breaking-in or training. It consists of a padded leather nosepiece with metal rings, attached to a thin leather strap with a buckle, and to a piece of cord. It was used by Mr H. F. Fuller of Rogers Farm in Newton, Suffolk, in the 1890s.
