This object has not been identified. It consists of a wooden disc with an iron rim, in the centre of which is a whole from which protrudes and iron chain ending in a hook. It came from the workshop of Mr W. W. Field, a wheelwright in Winson, Gloucestershire, and may be a wheelwrighting tool. Mr Field retired circa 1960 and the business closed.
