This is a reproduction print of 'Lincolnshire Ox', from an original painting, 'The Famous Lincolnshire Ox', by J. Barenger. It is a formal animal portrait of an ox, facing right, in a simple landscape. It was made in 1798, and is in a large gilt gold frame. The picture was shown in the May-July 1957 temporary exhibition 'Cattle & Sheep 1750-1850'.
