A 'Horti Culto' petrol-driven cultivator with rotary blades attached, manufactured by Allen & Simmonds (Auto Culto) Ltd. of Thames Side Engineering Works in Reading. It is powered by a four-stroke Villiers engine. Other attachments were also available for the cultivator. It was purchased by the donor in 1959 used on his allotment at School Garden in Iwerne Minster, Dorset.
