These are a pair of ribbed, khaki, woollen socks. The heels are darned. They were part of the Women’s Land Army uniform. These stockings or socks were worn with the breeches (88/46). There is also an inscription on the label: F.C + W.Ltd// 1945 //WARNORM // CERT // TRADE MARK // SI NEGAFEL 65 // REGD. TRADE MARK
