This is a cream-coloured, glazed stoneware jar with a brown handle and neck. It is inscribed at the top, 'A. & N. OSL' and on the lid 'DIUROMIL'. It was used for storing drink. The initials inscribed on the top, 'A. & N. OSL', may be the initials of the user. The jar was found by the donor at a house in Winnersh, Berkshire.
