This is a muff or hand warmer with is a flat semi-circular bottle with screw stopper, perforated at neck for square, brass wire handle with bone grips. It has a black ink stamp, clear glaze on buff earthenware. The bottle is inscribed 'The adaptable hot water bottle for muff or pocket' made at The Old Fulham Pottery, London.

Across shield is transverse sash reading: 'The Old Fulham Pottery, Estd. A.D. 1811'.
