This wooden gingerbread mould is incised with a design of wavy leaf patterns divided into segments on one side and plain on the other. It was given to Lavinia Smith by Mr John Denniss, whose family had been bakers in East Hendred for 200 years.

MERL 'Catalogue index' card – 'This gingerbread mould belonged to Mr. John Denniss of East Hendred (Berkshire). The block measures 8 by 5.25 inches, and is 1.2 inches in width. It has a design on one side only.
