This is an iron spade used for manual digging tool for clearing out ponds, ditches and drains. This spade came to the museum as part of the Sharp collection.

The Sharp Collection of agricultural and dairying equipment was compiled by Reverend C. J. Sharp at Wonersh, Surrey.
