[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]
This sewing basket was made by Dorothy Wright. It is round, bellied basket with a trunk lid, and is made of centre cane and buff willow, with a leather handle. It was designed to demonstrate the possibility of using willow with cane to give strength and richness of texture when worked by amateurs in conditions where the normal use of willow was not possible.
