A half bushel measure for measuring out quantities of grain. It is made of steamed bent wood with iron banding and side handles. It is marked 'I.B.I.' There is no sign of a verification stamp, suggesting that it was used for roughly measuring out quantities. It is part of the Saint Mary Bourne Collection, from the village of Saint Mary Bourne in Hampshire.
