This round knife, also described as a 'half moon knife', is saddler's tool with semi-circular blade used for general cutting of leather, especially strips too wide for a plough gauge, and irregular shapes. It was used by a saddler and cobbler in Yattendon, Berkshire, who had worked there from 1901 until the early 1960s.
