This mug was manufactured by Royal Art Potteries, of Longton, to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. It is a cream mug with a design in red, blue and gold showing a picture of the Queen surrounded by flags and topped with a crown. It is inscribed on the bottom 'Royal Art Pottery, Longton'. It was initially collected by a Miss A. H. Walker.
