This tall narrow mug was made in 1935 to commemorate King George V's Silver Jubilee. It is cream pottery, with a design in many colours showing portraits of the King and Queen either side of the royal coat of arms. On the back is the inscription 'Silver Jubilee Commemoration 1910-1935', and on the front '1910 Silver Jubilee 1935 // Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense // HM Queen Mary // HM King George V'. It was initially collected by a Miss A. H. Walker.
